Now think about all the times your parents had to take you to your practices before you could drive. Think of how you had to balance school and your sport. Think of all the hours spent practicing at school or at home. Think of all the friends you made and how you have grown since you first started your sport. Photographing you in your favorite sport is capturing years of your life. For some of you this may be the very last year you will ever play these sports.
Now it is time to think about how you want to represent your favorite sports! Here are some things to think about.
- Location: You can keep it casual and have a brick wall for a background. You can request permission to use your field or gym. Photos can also be done in the studio.
- Uniform: Choose either your away or home jersey or both. Wear your entire uniform and/or wear it with a pair of jeans.
- Mix up the intensity of your session. Smiles are just as important as a serious expression.
- Details. I love catching a player in action sliding into a base. The gloves that you wear or your favorite football or bat.
